I was initially asked to animate old photos for this documentary - they would find suitable old photos and I would cut them up (digitally!) and animate them in After Effects. But soon after they realized they had a lot of stories they wanted to tell that had no photos to go with them, so I pitched a style of animation that could work. I created a handful of shots for this project, but unfortunately they all ended up on the cutting room floor. It was still a great experience - since CSU is my Alma-mater!
